There's nothing better than exploring art without spending a dime. At CCBB, all exhibitions are open to the public free of charge, providing an incredible cultural experience for everyone. The exhibitions on display are: Evandro Teixeira. Chile 1973; Heitor dos Prazeres is my name; Banco do Brasil and Its History and From Salt to Digital: Money in the Banco do Brasil Collection.

2. Quality cinema at no cost

If you are a film lover, the CCBB offers a film show with free entry. And this is the last week to enjoy The Cinema of Álex de La Iglesia! The exhibition program includes films that were not released in Brazil. Check out the schedule below and immerse yourself in captivating stories on the big screen:

3. Unmissable theater plays

The plays on display at CCBB are true masterpieces that should not be missed. One tip is “Babilônia Tropical – A Nostalgia do Açúcar” which presents the colonialist marks on the city’s history with current reflections. Gender, class and ethnicity are addressed in the show. Anna Paes is a real historical figure who lived through the contradictions of Dutch rule in the Northeast. She writes a controversial note, which causes a series of questions for the contemporary characters. It's worth checking out this and other available theater options!

4. Fun for the whole family

CCBB has activities for all ages. CCBB Educativo is a place of cultures that starts from the principle of occupation. Among the various proposals, one of the most captivating experiences is the “Livro Vivo”, where everyone reads together. Shared reading is one of the first steps in developing readers. Educators read books aloud in line with the contents of the exhibitions on display.

Oh! And this Saturday there is still a special attraction: the Junta Local at CCBB

On September 9th, Praça da Pira, next to CCBB, will be invaded by Junta Local, a fair for small producers in Rio. In addition to delicious food and local products, you will be able to enjoy quality music with the group Galocantô, Known for his bamba drumming that delights Rio samba lovers.
