“MAR de Música” features Rio de Janeiro group Bala Quero with special participation by Rubel

Friday is the day to enjoy the show by one of the sensations of the new MPB, the Rio de Janeiro group Bala Quero, which is part of the “MAR de Música” agenda. Formed by Dora Morelenbaum, Julia Mestre, Lucas Nunes and Zé Ibarra, friends since school, they attracted attention when participating in some editions of Teresa Cristina's famous live during the quarantine. The band performs at the Rio Art Museum, on April 29th, starting at 6:30 pm and features a special appearance by Rubel.

Since the creation of the project, in 2014, names like Letrux, Diogo Nogueira, BK' and Larissa Luz have been there. Entry to the show is free and tickets can be collected at the venue's box office, between 10am and 5pm. It's worth remembering that it's always a good idea to check availability.

Bala Quero's performances combine authorial repertoire and reinterpretations by colleagues in the musical world. In addition to songs from Sim Sim Sim, debut album released by Coala Records (Coala Festival label) and which features Rubel in the cast, the setlist will list songs by the guest, including “Partilhar”, “Mantra” and “Colégio”. The soundtrack that precedes and also ends the night is provided by DJ Cris Panttoja.
