From August 12 to 15, Pier Mau\u00e1 will once again become the meeting point for those who think and live the future. In its 4th edition, Rio Innovation Week, consolidated as the largest global innovation event in Latin America, expands its structure in 20%, with 90,000 m\u00b2 dedicated to creation, debate and inspiration. In all, 40 simultaneous stages will host more than 400 exhibitors, 2,000 startups and around 185,000 expected visitors, with an expected turnover of more than R$ 4 billion in business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the theme \u201cA look through ethics\u201d, this year's event aims to reflect on the role of technology in an increasingly digitalized society. The aim is clear: to provoke discussions that go beyond being dazzled by innovation and propose a more humane, responsible and inclusive development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RIW 2025 will bring together more than 1,500 speakers, including global thinkers, entrepreneurs, scientists, artists and leaders of major brands. Among the confirmed highlights are Sebastian Vettel, four-time Formula 1 champion and socio-environmental activist, who will open the event; Denis Mukwege, neuroscientist and Nobel Peace Prize winner; Amy Webb, American futurist and global reference on technological trends; Peter Diamandis, founder of the XPRIZE Foundation and specialist in disruptive innovation; John Maeda, designer and VP of Microsoft, recognized for his work in creativity and technology; Gra\u00e7a Machel, international human rights activist; Carla Madeira, writer and innovation consultant; and Ney Matogrosso, Brazilian artist who will be involved in the cultural and creative debates of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will feature more than 15 content tracks covering the most relevant topics in the current and future scenario, such as Artificial Intelligence, ESG and sustainability, education and the future of work, Smart Cities, agro and bioeconomics, health and well-being, the creative economy and geopolitics with a focus on digital leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the trails, the public will be able to explore immersive experiences in augmented reality, robotics and climate technology; exhibitions in the Kobra Shed with visual and historical activations; mentoring, business rounds and investment opportunities for startups; and e-sports arenas with tournaments such as the FERJEE Circuit and the L\u00f3tus Challenge, which promote representativeness and inclusion in the gamer universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special highlight: the ship NAM Atl\u00e2ntico<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest attractions of the 2025 edition will be the helicopter carrier NAM Atl\u00e2ntico, a Brazilian Navy ship over 200 meters long, which will be moored at Pier Mau\u00e1 during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside, visitors will find: Simulators, technological exhibitions and augmented reality
Lectures on innovation in defense, science and engineering, Spaces for interaction, learning and immersive experiences, The finals of major gaming tournaments with live broadcasts and prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presence of the ship reinforces the innovative and daring nature of the event - and promises to yield the most impressive records of the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the days of the event, Pier Mau\u00e1 will also be the stage for great musical events that promise to transform the space into a true celebration of Brazilian culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With free performances on the RIW Music Session Stage, installed in Square 2\/3, the musical program mixes rhythms and generations, ensuring that the energy of the event lasts well into the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In tuesday, august 12th<\/strong>, The opening act is the traditional Marine Corps Symphonic Band, at 7pm. Then, at 9pm, the charismatic Tony Garrido takes to the stage, bringing his unique blend of reggae, pop and Brazilian music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Wednesday 13th<\/strong>, The Eu Convidado project starts at 7pm, with a collaborative format full of surprises. Then, at 9pm, it's the turn of the legendary Paralamas do Sucesso, with a repertoire full of classics that span generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Thursday 14th<\/strong>, The show also has great moments in store: singer-songwriter Leo Jaime performs at 7pm, bringing special guests for an evening full of nostalgia and good stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Friday 15th<\/strong> In August, the evening begins again with the Eu Convidado project, at 7pm. To close with a bang, singer Ferrugem takes to the stage at 9pm, guaranteeing lots of samba and pagode to end the week in high spirits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this program, Pier Mau\u00e1 reaffirms its role as a space for complete experiences: where innovation meets art, and technology walks to the sound of Brazilian music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
