Illuminated night
Nearby, in Praça Mauá, we have IluminaRio, with works by established and new artists who use light as the protagonist of their works, including Rosa Magalhães and Yhuri Cruz. The lighting art event brings to the city, for the first time, a festival similar to those already taking place in other parts of the world and promises to delight the public. The festival is an initiative of URBN Experience and, according to the organizers of the event, whose theme is “The essence of Rio in the form of art and light”, it was conceived with the aim of promoting the reunion of Rio residents with the city, in an atmosphere of dream and optimism.
The open-air exhibition runs until this Sunday and is lit between 6pm and 11:59pm. Free.
