Saturday is the day to enjoy with the family and… visit the Rio Antigo Fair, held on Rua do Lavradio, from 10am to 7pm. The century-old street, which is home to historic mansions, bars, antique shops and concert halls, offers a relaxed schedule for those who want to learn about the city's history and have fun.
For those who haven't yet come to check out the famous Jazz Circuit at the Fair, you can't miss this chance: the fair welcomes this Saturday (9), João Mario Macedo Trio taking the stage with João Braga on keyboard and Paulo Diniz on drums, starting at 4pm, in front of Praça Emilinha Borba.
The fair has a diverse selection of exhibitors and products, from furniture to clothing and accessories, including decorative objects, antiques and gastronomic items. While having fun on the tour, you can take advantage of one of the bars and restaurants in the region to have a caipirinha and admire the architectural beauty of Rua do Lavradio.
