For those who are strolling around the place, they will be able to watch the raising of the new MAR flag - “The order is samba”, which was chosen by popular vote. A symbolic moment that celebrates art, diversity and creativity. And to make the event even more special, the public will be able to enjoy a lively samba on the museum's pilotis. LGBTQIA+ Entrepreneurs Fair:
Cariocas and tourists will be able to learn a little more about the entrepreneurship of the LGBTQIA+ community at an innovative and inclusive fair that will take place at Praça Mauá this weekend (24th and 25th June), from 10am to 5pm. This is a unique opportunity to support and learn about the work of 20 entrepreneurs from the LGBTQIA+ community and artists.
The stalls will offer the public accessories, decorative pieces, children's and adult clothing, men's and women's, thrift store finds, silk pieces, jewelry, scented candles, black skin fashion, crafts, books and, of course, snacks: brownies, sweets and salty. To make the free programming even more lively, DJs will provide ambient sound for the event.
