Exhibitions at the Museum of Tomorrow: “Open Source Art” and “Sentir Mundo – An Immersive Journey”

Open Source Art is an innovative journey into the world of generative art, where the public is invited to delve into the intersection between programming language and artistic expression. This solo exhibition by artist-programmer Vamoss is a unique exploration of how open codes can be manipulated to create revolutionary images and ideas.

Visitors have the chance to experience art interactively, creating their own generative works and exploring the dynamism between order and chaos.

This exhibition is not just a celebration of creativity; it challenges visitors to reflect on the presence and influence of computer programs in our lives – from mobile devices to social media, affecting our emotions and behaviors.

Open Source Art is focused on interactivity, inviting visitors to actively engage with the art. The exhibition is designed to be an immersive experience, where each participant can manipulate code and see their own creations come to life. This interaction provides a deeper understanding of the relationship between art, technology and modern society.

The exhibition “Sentir Mundo – An Immersive Journey” sharpens the public's senses with the aim of bringing them closer to the perspective that other species have of the environment they inhabit. Conceived and developed by Sensory Odyssey Studio, the project takes visitors to stroll through three thematic areas: the visible part of the forest, inside the ground and the dance of insects through information panels, characteristic sounds, smells and entomological collection (scientific collection made up of insects). The exhibition is a reduced version of Sensory Odyssey, which debuted in Paris, in partnership with the National Museum of Natural History, and was shown in Singapore.

The exhibition offers a space for debate about the new frontiers of contemporary art and presents the first Brazilian generation of digital artists who use the blockchain platform to validate their production.
