The Saúde neighborhood, here in our area, joined the select list of the coolest in the world from the magazine Time Out, a famous destination guide, with tips on various parts of the world, which usually chooses the coolest neighborhoods based on restaurants, bars, nightlife and cultural criteria. Located between the Center and Gamboa, in the heart of Porto Maravilha, the neighborhood is in 25th position in the annual ranking Time Out Index, which covers 49 neighborhoods and is the only Brazilian one on the list.

“The cobblestone streets and alleys of Saúde offer a break from the frenetic center of Rio”, says the brief profile about the Rio neighborhood.
Saúde is a neighborhood still little explored by the locals themselves.
“Visitors will discover charming old bars, beautiful Portuguese architecture and fascinating sites, such as Pedra do Sal”, highlights the publication.
Time Out also highlighted that the revitalized port area is home to “the UFO-like architecture of the Museum of Tomorrow, the (MAR) and huge street art murals along Olympic Boulevard.”

The first place in the ranking went to the neighborhood of Norrebro, in Copenhagen (Denmark), followed by Andersonville, in Chicago (USA), and Jongno 3-ga, in Seoul (South Korea). The survey was carried out through a survey of 27,000 residents of cities around the world, together with the opinions of the magazine's editors and city experts.
