A new samba spot arrives in the Marvelous City: the Porto Market. Led by Diogo Nogueira, main attraction, Clube do Samba has a new space at Pier Mauá for the summer season. This Sunday, December 11th, starting at 4pm, the venue debuts with a female samba circle – Sambaiana group – which features Ju Moraes (The Voice Finalist), Marília Sodré and Rayra Maya. The event will be a great celebration of women, who are always present at the club, such as Beth Carvalho, Dona Ivone Lara, Alcione, Jovelina Pérola Negra, among others.
During breaks, the music is provided by DJ Cris Pantoja. After Diogo Nogueira's show, the Grande Rio drums end the night in style.
The house bar will serve drinks and typical bar food, in a great celebration of the world of samba.
With more than three thousand square meters of open structure and fixed roof, the place allows events of all kinds, with a pleasant atmosphere, an unparalleled view and a guarantee of fun even on rainy days.
Businessman João Diniz, creator of the project, reveals that other events are scheduled until April next year at the location. In addition to four more editions of Clube do Samba, there will be carnival balls, gastronomic fairs, among others.
“We will have daytime and nighttime events, with a stage on the deck, in the indoor area, for adults or the whole family,” says Diniz.
For this Sunday's show the gate will open at 4pm and tickets can be purchased from R$ 50.00, via the website Showpass.
