Eighth edition of Veste Rio occupies the Pier Mauá warehouses with collections for winter 2020

Outlet with up to 80% discount on designer clothes

 

For those who like to enjoy fashion, shop and try the delicacies of food trucks and bikes with the admirable view of Guanabara Bay, you cannot miss the 8th edition of one of the most important fashion events in Brazil, “Veste Rio – A moda This is about doing business”, which is back at Pier Mauá. From October 9th to 12th, warehouses 2,3 and 4 will bring together the best of national fashion in the Business Show (entrance with credentials), unmissable discounts at the Outlet, as well as lectures with significant names in the market, fashion and beauty workshops , parades and even a common area with gastronomy.

After receiving more than 25 thousand people in the last edition, in April, there is great expectation of repeating the success. Organized by the magazines Vogue Brasil and Ela, from the newspaper O Globo, the main trends in Autumn/Winter 2020 fashion will be present at the Business Show with the most renowned brands in the country. Restricted to national and international buyers, the venue will bring together major brands such as Blue Man, Eva, Lucidez, Rygy, Ton Âge, Taidai, Totem, Victor Dzenk who will present their collections and trends. The space will also provide space for new brands.

The opening of the outlet has free entry and takes place on Wednesday (09). In the space, which will be active until Saturday, clothes from past collections from popular brands such as Farm, Osklen, Lenny Niemeyer and Maria Filó will be sold with discounts of up to 80%. There are several options for women's, men's and children's fashion, as well as brands of accessories and bags. One of the highlights of this edition is Coletivo Retoke Plus Size, a collaborative channel of independent designers and creators that offers exclusive and personalized pieces above size 44.

Workshops and lectures

Lectures and workshops with big names in the market and delicious gastronomic options are also on the agenda of the Rio fashion event. In addition to watching fashion shows and buying clothes, attendees can stay up to date with the parallel programming at the fair. This is the case of the 'Image Consulting Workshop – Styles and Biotypes', with style consultant Renata Biterncourt. Makeup artist Nathália Dutra is in charge of the 'Oficina de Estilos de moda applied à Make'. The 'Fashion creation workshop', with Natália Estevan, and the 'Fashion photography and production workshop', with Virna Santolia, will attract entrepreneurs, designers and students.

Social action

During the four days of the event, visitors will be able to take clothes, women's, men's and children's, in good condition and donate them in the social action space O Rio Veste Solidariedade. The pieces will be sent to the Doar Fashion project.
