Anyone who passes by before dark will be able to have your eyes? attracted to the four beautiful giants that are moored at Pier Mauá, waiting to take their lucky guests to a unique experience in Copacabana.
In addition to Praça Mauá, the party will be held in other parts of the city: Copacabana, Praia do Flamengo, Piscinão da Praia de Ramos, IAPI da Penha, Parque Madureira, Praça das Juras, in Bangu, Praia de Sepetiba, Pedra de Guaratiba, Praia da Bica, on Governador Island, and Praia da Moreninha, on Paquetá Island.

Copacabana illuminated: New Year fireworks and emotions by the sea
At nightfall, the imposing ships will depart from Pier Mauá towards Copacabana, where an anxious crowd also waits for the magical turning point. When 2024 arrives, at midnight, the Copacabana sky will light up with a spectacle of colors and 3D figures, represented by double hearts, circles with stars and innovative bombs. There will be 12 minutes of fireworks, with more modern and technological bombs. In an even more powerful presentation, it will have new graphics and more technology, with brightness and colors.
This year, the fireworks display will be accompanied by a live orchestra. Musical chords under the baton of conductor Ludhymila Bruzzi will dictate the rhythm of the explosions. In total, there will be ten ferries, with a distance of 25 meters between them. The trigger system is connected via GPS, which monitors and triggers each of them. Furthermore, drones will put on a show in their own right, with images and messages of peace and hope.
