Second half of December at Pier Mauá has 13 ships

Three cruises spend New Year’s Eve in the Marvelous City

In the last fortnight of 2019, Pier Mauá will receive 13 ships, with almost 51 thousand tourists. On the 17th, the international Seven Seas Mariner docks at Pier Mauá with approximately 1000 visitors. The ship's current cruise lasts 66 days, round trip from Miami to Miami – Circle South America, with a “New Year” theme. The itinerary started on November 1, 2019 and ends on January 6, 2020.

On the 18th it will be the turn of the Costa Pacifica which left Buenos Aires – Argentina on December 15th and after its stay in Rio de Janeiro it continues its journey to Angra dos Reis; and Sovereign, with a five-day cruise, leaving from Rio de Janeiro, visiting Búzios, Santos and disembarking at Pier Mauá. He returns to the port on the 22nd for an eight-day trip leaving Pier Mauá, visiting Búzios, Camboriú, Santos and disembarking at the port of Rio de Janeiro again.

On the 20th it is the turn of MSC Fantasia, which carries out eight-day trips, round trip to South America with the Christmas Cruise theme and a 16-day trip with the New Year theme.

The Costa Fascinosa docks on the 21st, bringing an average of 4900 tourists with a six-day trip, round trip to South America leaving from Santos.

On a trip that lasts eight days, round trip to South America, MSC Musica leaves on December 18th from Buenos Aires – Argentina, docks in Rio de Janeiro on the 23rd and returns on the 26th to the Argentine capital.

In the last days of 2019, Pier Mauá receives Costa Fascinosa on the 27th, MSC Fantasia on the 28th and Sovereign on the 29th. On the 30th, three simultaneous vessels that will go to Copacabana to see the fireworks display will be moored there. They are: MSC Musica, Costa Pacifica and Azamara Pursuit.
