Band premieres this Sunday (30) at 10pm, The Sound of the Oceans. Under the command of Eri Johnson, The weekly program reveals life on board theme cruises and transports the audience to the contagious energy of unique voyages. The show mixes music, backstage and the crew's routine, as well as the surprises that arise on the high seas.
Throughout the episodes, the audience will follow the festive spirit of the tourists who dive into this adventure. “People embark with enormous expectations of being happy. Some people get married there, others get married there, not to mention the meetings and reunions. We'll be showing something that Brazilians don't know yet, since we're just starting to discover this universe, and the idea is to put a lot of reviews, humor and emotion on the air,” says the official master of ceremonies for the events.
For the 2025/2026 season, the line-up will bring together big names from the national scene, including Chitãozinho & Xororó, Leonardo, Péricles, Sorriso Maroto, Gilberto Gil, Alexandre Pires, Gusttavo Lima, Belo, Roupa Nova, Ana Castela, Jorge & Mateus, Zezé Di Camargo, Wesley Safadão, Alok, and the special Barretos 70 Years and New Year's Eve events.
“In my opinion, it's not just about presenting. It's about communicating with the sailors and offering viewers at home an intimate experience with everyone present. We're going to uncover the origins of these artists, understand how they got here and what their goals are for the future. Who supported them during the most difficult times so that they didn't give up? I make a point of showing the human side of each one,” says the host.
The initiative is a partnership between the broadcaster and PromoAção, a company founded by Eduardo Cristofaro, with general direction by Cris Gomes. It is the first regular TV format dedicated to exploring the entire journey of a musical ship, from the personalities who animate the stages to the travelers and the teams who make it all happen.
The Sound of the Oceans airs on Sundays at 10 p.m., with simultaneous transmission on the app Bandplay.
