Increased security
Pier Mauá has invested significantly in port security, implementing a series of improvements to ensure a safer and more efficient environment. Among the main initiatives are the modernization of the CCTV monitoring system, now with new software, and the computerization of access control using turnstiles and card readers. In addition, infrared sensors were installed for the perimeter alarm, sirens with audio for emergency control and structural improvements were made, such as the modernization of the guardhouses, the construction of a new reception and the fencing of the water castles. New security equipment and software was also acquired, reinforcing Pier Mauá's commitment to protecting visitors, crew and employees.
For those wishing to get a closer look at the ships docking at Pier Mauá, a great option is the area outside warehouses 3 and 4 or around the Museum of Tomorrow, which offer a privileged view. However, access to the terminal is restricted to passengers and authorized persons only, ensuring the safety and proper functioning of port operations.
