Luxury ship Queen Victoria docks at Pier Mauá

Last Wednesday (5), Pier Mauá welcomed the luxurious Queen Victoria, one of the most elegant cruises in the Cunard Line fleet. Known for its sophisticated design and classic atmosphere, the ship is considered a floating tourist destination.

Built in 2007 and refurbished in 2023, the Queen Victoria has capacity for 2,489 passengers and a crew of 900 professionals. Its interior is inspired by art deco, combining tradition and modernity in an exclusive experience for travelers.

High-standard facilities

The ship offers a series of refined spaces, including:

Queens Room - salon where passengers can enjoy traditional afternoon tea, take part in dances or even take fencing lessons.

Royal Court Theatre - theater with private seats available for purchase, providing a more exclusive experience.

Winter Garden - space with a retractable glass roof, which opens on sunny days, allowing passengers to enjoy the view in comfort.

In the European winter, the Queen Victoria takes longer cruises to destinations such as South America and the Caribbean. In addition, the ship is one of the protagonists of round-the-world voyages, offering its passengers a unique experience.

The ship arrived in Rio from Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados in the Caribbean, and will remain anchored at Pier Mauá until 5pm on Thursday (6), when it will continue its journey to Montevideo in Uruguay.
