Residents and visitors can take advantage of the privileged view from Praça Mauá, next to the Museum of Tomorrow, to admire the four cruise ships that will be at Pier Mauá this Tuesday (21), attracting around 9,794 tourists. MSC Poesia (21/01) - It is scheduled to arrive at 5:30 a.m. and leave the city at 4 p.m. for Buenos Aires. Ship capacity: 3,223

It is the third ship in MSC Crociere's Musica class. Built in France, it began operating on April 19, 2008, after being christened by actress Sophia Loren in Dover, England. The ship, which has capacity for 3223 passengers, has sailed in Northern Europe, the Adriatic, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and South America. In the 2024/2025 season, the MSC Poesia is returning to Brazil for regular calls during its cruises from the ports of Buenos Aires and Montevideo in Uruguay.
MV Pacific World (21/01) - It is scheduled to arrive at 6:30 a.m. and depart at 9 p.m. for Santos. Ship capacity: 2,010

The Pacific World (a Japanese ship called the “Peace Boat”) is a ship with the capacity to carry 1,800 people on board. Peace Boat is an international NGO based in Japan that works to promote peace, human rights and sustainability.
Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Peace Boat World Cruises offers a unique program of activities focused on experiential learning and intercultural communication. With more than 35 years of experience, they organize around 70 trips around the world, visiting more than 200 ports in 80 countries.
Bolettte (21/01) - It is scheduled to arrive at 7 a.m. and leave the city at 9:30 p.m. Ship capacity: 1,338

The Bolette is a Fred. Olsen Cruises that sails from the UK. The ship is small and its itineraries are designed to explore lesser-known Norwegian cities, towns and fjords. Some of the destinations visited by the Bolette are: Canary Islands, Mediterranean Sea, Nordfjord, Geirangerfjord, Romsdalfjord, Briksdal Glacier, Norway, Northern Lights.
The Bolette is a passenger ship sailing under the Bahamian flag. It is 237.83 meters long and 32.28 meters wide.
MSC Magnificent (21 to 22/01) - It is scheduled to arrive at 8:30 a.m. and leave the city on January 22 at 4 p.m. for Buenos Aires. Ship capacity: 3,223

Built by STX Europe in Saint-Nazaire, it began operating in 2010 and has capacity for 3,605 passengers. The ship combines the style of the Musica Class with the variety of the Fantasia Class. With a modified design, it is slightly larger than its twins and has additional attractions such as an indoor swimming pool with a glass roof and a bowling alley. After making mini-cruises to the Bahamas throughout 2024, she is returning to MSC Cruises' round-the-world cruises in 2025.
